Ang anekdota ay isang uri ng akdang tuluyan na tumatalakay sa kakaiba o kakatwang pangyayaring naganap sa buhay ng isang kilala, sikat o tanyag na Tao. Ito ay may dalawang uri: kata-kata at hango sa totoong buhay. Ito rin ang mga ginagawa ng mga pagpapaliwanag sa mga ginagawa ng mga Tao.

Nagreklamo na Takot

lsang babae ang nagreklamo sa pulis na siya raw ay pinagsaman­ talahan ng kanyang manliligaw matapos na ito ay kanyang biguin.

“Kailan pa ito nangyari?” tanong ng pulis. “Noon pa hong 1977.”

“Bakit ng*yon lang kayo nag-report? Dapat sana’y noon pa!”

“Sapagkat ako po’y kanyang tinakot na papatayin niya kapag ako’y nagsumbong,” ang medyo kinikilabutan pang sabi ng babae.

“Ah, ganoon ba? E, bakit ng*yon ay nag-report kayo?” usisa ng pulis.

Sagot ng babae, “Dahil patay na po siya at wala nang papatay sa akin kapag ako’y nagsumbong sa mga maykapangyarihan!”

Maawaing Saleslady

Isang mukhang disenteng babae ang nakiusap sa saleslady ng isang Department Store na kung maaari raw ay singkuwenta pisos muna ang ibabayad niya sa kanyang napiling sapatos dahil sa kulang ang dala niyang pera.

“Kailangang-kailangan ko lang ng*yong gabi ang sapatos na ito dahil may party akong dadaluhan,” pakiusap ng babae .  “Bukas na bukas din ay ibabalik ko ang kulang kong apatnapu’t limang piso.”

Pumayag naman ang maawaing saleslady. Kinagabihan, nang magsasara na ang tindahan, nalaman ng manager niya ang nangyari kaya kinagalitan siya nito.

“Bakit ka pumayag na paloko? Ni hindi mo kilala ‘ang babaeng iyon. ‘Buti kung humalik pa iyon!” ang pagalit na sahi ng manager .

Ang sago! ng saleslady, “Boss, huwag kayong mag-alala. Tiyak na babalik ‘yon! Parehong kanang paa ang i*inig*y kong sapatos!”
