Riddles in Tagalog is referred to as Bugtong. Ito ay isang palaisipan o talinghaga na may nakatagong kahulugan. Ang bugtong ay Isang pangungusap na patanong nahumi*ingi ng kasagutan. Ang mga bugtong ay kadalasang patungkol sa pag-uugali, kaisipan, pang-araw-araw na buhay at katutubong paligid ng mga Pilipino.

  9. Hindi hayop, hindi tao, pumupulupot sa tiyan mo. – sagot: sinturon (belt)
  10. Dala mo dala ka, dala ka ng iyong dala. – sagot: sapatos (s***s)
  11. Isang balong malalim, punong-puno ng patalim. sagot: bibig (mouth)
  12. Maliit pa si Kumpare, nakakaakyat na sa tore. – sagot: langgam (ant)
  13. Kung gusto mong tumagal pa ang aking buhay, kailangang ako ay mamatay. – sagot: kandila (candle)
  14. Nakatalikod na ang prinsesa, ang mukha’y nakaharap pa. – sagot: balimbing
  15. Kung kailan mo pinatay, saka pa humaba ang buhay. – sagot: kandila
  16. Baboy ko sa pulo, ang balahibo’y pako. – sagot: langka
  17. Nang sumipot sa maliwanag, kulubot na ang balat. – sagot: ampalaya
  18. Baboy ko sa parang, namumula sa tapang – sagot: sili (chili)
  19. Noong munti ay Americano, noong lumaki ay Negro – sagot: duhat
  20. Hindi pari, hindi hari, nagdadamit ng sari-sari. – sagot: paruparo
  21. Isang butil ng palay, sakot ang buong buhay. – sagot: ilaw
  22. Hugis puso, kulay ginto, Mabango kung amuyin, masarap kung kanin – sagot: mangga
  23. May bintana nguni’t walang bubungan, may pinto nguni’t walang hagdanan. – sagot: kumpisalan
  24. Puno ay buku-buko, dahon ay abaniko, ang bunga ay parasko, perdigones ang buto. – sagot: papaya
  25. Sa araw ay bungbong, sa gabi ay dahon. – sagot: banig
  26. Tubig na nagiging bato, Batong nagiging tubig – sagot: asin (salt)
  27. Dalawa kong kahon, buksan walang ugong. – sagot: iyong mata
  28. Ang ina’y gumagapang pa, ang anak ay umuupo na. – sagot: Kalabasa (Squash)
  29. Munting hayop na pangahas, aaligid-aligid sa ningas.  – sagot: gamu-gamo
  30. Isa ang pasukan, tatlo ang labasan. –  sagot: kamiseta
